short 1-2 hour program to a half or full day workshop as well as extended
customized training programs.
Back Safety Training
Our customized back safety training classes will bring results to you based on our unique training process. We know how difficult it is to get your workers to change their unsafe work behaviors. Many times, workers are not even aware that they are practicing unsafely or putting themselves at risk. That’s why we offer customized, participatory classes that involve your workers and their supervisors in the education and training process from start to finish. Best of all, our instructors are experts in preventing work injuries, and keeping your workers safe, and keeping you in compliance with California safety regulations.
Executive Seminars for Managers and Supervisors
Injury prevention ergonomics and disability management is an internal process that allows you to actually take control of your workers’ compensation claims and costs instead of giving it away to your healthcare providers and insurance company. Through a variety of well thought out strategies, managers and supervisors are in a better position to respond appropriately to work injuries, avoiding the possibility of litigation or citations. Training includes understanding the work injury process, responding to the first minutes of the injury and providing assistance to employees with early signs and symptoms or work injury.
Ergonomics Workshop for Office or Industrial Workers
Our Ergonomics Workshops are customized based on the participants job tasks and work environment. We develop our objectives to match the work routines, materials handled and tasks performed by your employees and also assure you Cal-OSHA compliance based on the 5110 guidelines for prevention of repetitive motion. Our highly rated workshops explain the concept of ergonomics to your workers and how it applies to them in the office or industrial environment. In addition, the program explains the risk factors that lead to repetitive motion or cumulative trauma. Early warning signs and symptoms are explained with a pro-active approach to encourage workers to take care of themselves before their symptoms worsen or they feel the need to file a workers’ compensation claim. Strong emphasis is placed on setting up the work area correctly and using all ergonomic equipment effectively to include the chair/stool, keyboard tray, keyboard/mouse, monitor, documents and other essential tools. The class includes safe work practices; easy stretches to perform in the workplace and other self-care methods.
