Pre-Work Screening
(Previously known as Pre-Employment Testing)
Additionally known as Post-Offer, Pre-Placement Evaluation, Andersen Physical Therapy pre-work evaluations provide employers with specific information on the relationship between the critical demands of the job and the physical capabilities of the newly-hired worker.- Screening evaluation performed on newly-hired workers following a conditional job offer, and prior to placement into to the workforce.
- The employer can withdraw the conditional job offer (subject to reasonable accommodation issues)
if the worker fails to demonstrate the functional capacity necessary to safely
perform the physical demands of the job. - The evaluated components of tested items are selected directly upon review of a job description that contains physical demands of the job quantified by a job task analysis.
- Critical demand functions of the job are identified and matched against the participantant's physical ability.
