Do I need a referral for physical therapy?

Yes, your insurance & the State of California require a referral with a doctor’s signature.

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept all Worker compensation Ins., Medicare, almost all PPO’s (e.g. Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care, JBT, UFCW, Automobile and private liens, HMO’s affiliated with Sutter Gould Medical).

How much will my co-pay be & will my insurance cover physical therapy?

Prior to being seen by your physical therapist, your benefits will be verified through your insurance company and
reviewed with you.

What are your hours?

Monday – Friday, 8:00AM to 6:00PM.

Do you have a therapist who specializes in my diagnosis?

We have Physical Therapists who specialize in general Neurological & Orthopedic physical therapy, Hand therapy, Lymphedema, Vestibular rehabilitation, TMJ therapy, Sports physical therapy and Ergonomic evaluations.

What type of a treatment will I be receiving?

Each treatment is specifically tailored to each patient's impairments and disabilities.

How often and how many visits will I need?

Frequency and duration of visits is based upon the individual’s needs which can range from 1 to 3 visits per week, for an appropriate numbers of weeks.

Will you need the results of my x-rays before I can begin treatment?

No, however a copy of your results can benefit your Physical Therapist with the evaluation and selection of exercises.
